The Council of the Sri Lanka Association of Cardiothoracic and Thoracic Surgeons (ACTSSL) comprises elected representatives and prominent figures within the cardiothoracic surgery community of Sri Lanka. It is Responsible for guiding the association's activities, the Council plays a vital role in setting strategic objectives, ensuring governance, advocating for member interests, and facilitating education and training initiatives. Committed to promoting excellence and professionalism in cardiothoracic surgery, the Council develops long-term plans aligned with the association's vision and mission. It oversees the implementation of policies and procedures, maintains financial transparency, and upholds ethical standards.
