ACTSSL Annual Academic Sessions 2025: Workshops and Events Schedule Released - Duty Leave granted by Ministry Of Health 

Colombo, Sri Lanka – The Association of Cardiothoracic and Thoracic Surgeons of Sri Lanka (ACTSSL) has announced its schedule for the Annual Academic Sessions 2025 and a series of specialized satellite workshops, spanning from December 28, 2024, to January 19, 2025. These events aim to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals across various cardiothoracic disciplines.

The Ministry of Health, under the directive of Dr. Asela Gunawardena, Director General of Health Services, has granted duty leave for resource persons and participants attending these sessions. This initiative ensures the workshops will be accessible without disrupting regular duties, contingent on proof of attendance.

• 10.01.2025: Inauguration Ceremony at Waters Edge Hotel, Colombo
• 11.01.2025 - 12.01.2025: Annual Academic Sessions at Waters Edge Hotel, Colombo
• 13.01.2025: Transit Time Flowmetry Workshop at Lanka Hospitals, Colombo
• 14.01.2025: Transit Time Flowmetry Workshop at Asiri Hospital, Kandy
• 18.01.2025: Echocardiography Workshop at Asiri Hospital, Kandy
• 19.01.2025: Instrument Handling Workshop at National Hospital of Sri Lanka, Colombo
